SHAC
(Student
Health Advisory Committee) is
in the Program and Services division of the Associated Students
of The University of Arizona (ASUA) that focuses on developing
programs and organizing events that promote better health
among students at the University of Arizona.
Our
members work to improve the health of the UA student population
by coordinating on-campus informational booths, participating
in nationally recognized health campaigns, sponsoring blood
drives, hosting health related events, and contributing to
health policy through our involvement with the Campus Health
Service.
SHAC is a student run organization made up of 25 motivated
members that are free to come up with new projects; we greatly
appreciate any comments and/or suggestions. The students and
faculty of UA, as well as the local community benefit from
the events and projects made possible because of SHAC.
